Onapsis Appoints Anshuman Kanwar as General Manager of Products and Technology

Strategic Addition of Former LogMeIn CTO Brings Experience Building Innovative Enterprise Software Solutions to Help Onapsis Guide Customers to the Cloud with Confidence

BOSTON – December 3, 2019 – Onapsis™, the leader in business application protection, today announced the appointment of Anshuman Kanwar as general manager of products and technology. In this new role, Kanwar is responsible for developing and scaling The Onapsis Platform to protect customers’ business-critical applications while strengthening their ability to meet tomorrow’s digital business requirements.

With nearly 20 years of product and technology leadership experience and a passion for building high-performance teams, Kanwar brings an intimate understanding of software development and technology operations, a strong aptitude for market trends and a solid track record of scaling products to meet customer demands. Most recently, he served as the chief technology officer at LogMeIn, where he oversaw product management, engineering and customer experience for its UCC product portfolio. Previously, Kanwar held several senior technology and engineering leadership roles at Citrix, where he led the development of its SaaS and internet-based enterprise offerings. Kanwar holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Delhi, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

“With attacks targeting business-critical applications such as SAP and Oracle EBS on the rise, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join a market pioneer like Onapsis,” said Kanwar. “The opportunity to accelerate the innovation of The Onapsis Platform and deliver new, meaningful business risk solutions that mitigate threats and protect operational processes is powerful and humbling. I look forward to the challenge and to extending Onapsis’s business-critical application protection leadership.”

According to a recent IDC survey, 64% of SAP and Oracle EBS deployments have been breached in the last 24 months. As organizations rely on these ERP systems, and leading cloud-based platforms including Concur, Ariba and SuccessFactors, they require the proper technology to ensure application integrity, performance, compliance and cybersecurity.

“We’ve experienced exponential growth in 2019 and adding a technology leader with a proven track record of building cloud-scale platforms hastens our momentum,” said Mariano Nunez, CEO and Co-founder, Onapsis. “With Anshuman leading our product and technology teams, we’re primed to help organizations accelerate their business application modernization, cloud and mobility initiatives.”

Onapsis recently announced the latest release of The Onapsis Platform. The solution is designed for cross-functional collaboration among the IT, cybersecurity, development and GRC teams responsible for business-critical application performance and protection, allowing them to optimize change, improve workflows, automate manual tasks and reduce business risk.
