2019 Year in Review for Onapsis Partners

2019 was an incredible year for Onapsis, with significant growth enabled with strategic partnerships, fueled by the acquisition of Virtual Forge and supported by our growing customer base. Thank you to all our partners for being a part of our continued success, and thank you for working with Onapsis to provide enterprises with comprehensive protection for their SAP and Oracle platforms. We hope to continue combining our strengths to help our customers protect what matters most.

Looking back on 2019, we have accomplished a phenomenal amount with the successful methodology of our four-pillar partner strategy around channels, alliances, MSSP’s and System Integrator partners. This approach allows us the unlimited potential to scale Onapsis’s go-to-market reach with our dedicated partners. Together we are addressing the business challenges in the fast-growing market of protecting business-critical SAP and Oracle applications as customers migrate to the cloud and drive digital transformations.

In June of 2019, Onapsis made the strategic decision to acquire Virtual Forge, the leading provider of solutions to automatically prevent, detect and remediate cybersecurity and compliance risks in customizations and extensions of SAP applications. With Virtual Forge under the Onapsis brand, we are able to offer customers one complete platform that allows organizations unparalleled visibility, incident response management and compliance for their business-critical applications. Through this acquisition and our partner ecosystem, we are able to provide improvements to ERP security costs, business efficiencies and decreased project times.

When reviewing the market in 2019, it is clear that organizations continue to extend their cloud and on-premises business applications and we plan to grow alongside them using our combined specialized knowledge base, expertise, and insight into ERP security best practices. By providing actionable insight about key compliance issues, Onapsis is particularly helpful in addressing SAP S/4HANA migrations. Many SAP customers are looking to move to the cloud as their future innovation platform for HANA and S/4HANA, however, security and data privacy concerns remain a potential blocker to moving to the cloud. While the cloud offers many advantages in efficiency, cost, and scale, the risks are large if not done right. Bringing our joint capabilities to market, companies can plan to get clean and stay clean in order to avoid being the next casualty at the top of the headlines. With our partner relationships, we have built a global joint “Onapsis-as-a-Service” offering that includes the system integrators’ SAP and cyber teams’ knowledge base to offer these services for clients who want to migrate SAP4/HANA before they move to the cloud.

The work we have accomplished in 2019 has been highlighted through Global Awards that have focused on finding innovative infosec players who have a presence outside of the USA and/or a more global focus. This year, Onapsis was named a Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ for the third year in a row. Onapsis ranked number 13 among North America’s fastest-growing cybersecurity companies. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America, now in its 25th year. Additionally, Onapsis won the 2019 Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global Award for the best product in the ERP Security category.

It is through the strength and trust of the partner community we can continue to accomplish our joint goals in 2020 and beyond. I look forward to what the coming year holds and the opportunity to offer our support to organizations across the globe.
